Pick-Up & Delivery

Pick-Ups Please give us a call at 506-854-4753 at least 30 minutes prior to your arrival so that our warehouse team can prepare your items for pick-up. You must visit our showroom at 2463 Mountain Rd. Moncton, upon arrival to let a store associate know the warehouse can release your product. Our Warehouse Team may be available to assist with loading products onto your vehicle. Please inspect your product before leaving. Home Furniture & Lighting holds no responsibility for damage after the products leave our warehouse unless it is a Manufacturer defect. Please bring any required materials to help you safely transport the item(s). Many products for pick-up are unpackaged and may need a blanket, pad, tarp, ropes, tie-downs, etc. We can assist you in putting the item in your vehicle; however, each customer is responsible for item protection during transport. See Pick-Up section for more details. Home Furniture and Lighting offers delivery outside the Greater Moncton area at an additional charge. Please contact our store for fees based on distance. Before Delivery Arrival

  • Please ensure an adult over 19 will be present at the location and time of delivery. If you are in a condo or apartment, please make sure the elevator is booked for the time slot indicated.
  • Make sure there is a clear path from the point of entry to your home or building to the room where your items will be placed. This may include removal of snow and ice, toys, shoes, and any other hazard that is blocking a safe pathway for our delivery team.
  • Please ensure that clothes washers and dryers are completely disconnected from the water and power supply. Dryer vent must also be disconnected.
  • Make sure there is a clear path with nothing hindering the item from getting to its desired location. Measure the widths and heights of the pathway/entryway - INCLUDING ANY BASEBOARDS and elevator depth if applicable.
  • Take care to measure door clearances – check the measurement from the floor to the top of door, and side edge of door to hinges.
  • Look for anything that may get in the way of moving your items into a room: bannisters, lighting fixtures, corners and other architectural details.
  • The minimum measurement for clearance of the item must not exceed the height or width of any entryway.
Delivery Process The delivery team will give you a call 30 minutes prior to their arrival. Delivery times with booked with 3-hour windows (ex. 10am-1pm). We are unable to provide an exact time for delivery as the delivery team has multiple deliveries scheduled every day. Appliances Home Furniture & Lighting will unbox and put major appliances in place, install handles on refrigerators and place laundry pieces on pedestals or attach a stacking kit. For insurance reasons, our delivery team is not able to hook-up gas lines, electrical wiring, duct work, or water lines. Small appliances will be left in their packaging unless requested otherwise. We can refer customers to appliance installers if those services are required. Mattresses We will remove packaging from your new mattress and boxspring and place them into your room of choice. If required. Our delivery team will also remove your old mattress and boxspring to curbside. Due to health and safety regulations, our team will not remove soiled mattresses. Furniture Upholstery furniture, large dining room, and bedroom items will be placed into the room of your choice and all packaging will be taken away. Items will be fully functional when delivery is complete. All legs will be attached on upholstered pieces, reclining backs will be put in place, sectional pieces will be connected together, and shipping locks removed. Shelves and handles can be installed if requested. Ready To Assemble All ‘Ready To Assemble’ (RTA) items will be left in the packaging and placed in the room of your choice. If assembly assistance is required, it must be arranged with the store before delivery to book out the appropriate amount of time needed. Décor In the case of artwork, the delivery team are not trained to install artwork in your home for reason of liability. Disposal We offer a one-for-one appliances disposal service for a small additional fee. This must be arranged prior to delivery with all items easily accessible for the delivery team. Due to health and safety regulations, our team will not remove soiled mattresses and/or furniture. Home Furniture and Lighting does not deliver items that have not been purchased from our store. Home Furniture and Lighting is not responsible for furniture that does not fit and will give no refunds if this occurs. Cancellations & Re-booking If any schedule needs to be changed, please call us within 24 hours prior to your delivery. If the delivery is cancelled on the day of delivery, there will be a $50 cancellation fee applied when you re-book the delivery. Delivery charges are not refundable. Please note that all refunds will take 8-10 business days for it to appear on your bank statement.

Home Lighting and Furniture is not responsible for delays caused by acts of the Purchaser(s), strikes, weather conditions, supplier back orders, and without limiting the forgoing, any and all other contingency over which it has no control.

  • Our warehouse team ensures that every product that leaves our warehouse is inspected thoroughly to avoid any damage.
  • Some items from Home Furniture & Lighting are one of a kind and will have natural markings due to the nature of wood & marble.
  • All floor models may have some minor imperfections on the product and are final sale. Please refer to our Return & Exchange Policy for more details.
  • Once items are delivered, a signature will be required to ensure your furniture has been received in good condition.
  • If any damages occur during your delivery, please call us at 506-854-4753 immediately while the delivery team is still present in your home so we can best assist you directly. If the delivery takes place after hours, please call us the following morning.

Returns & Exchanges

Return & Exchange Policy All items that are returned for refund will be charged the original delivery fee along with a second fee for the pick-up of the returned merchandise. In addition, all returned merchandise will be charged a 20% restocking fee that will be subtracted from the refund amount.
Furniture & Accessories
Notify us within 3 days of your delivery or pick-up if you are not satisfied with your purchase, and you may return your furniture purchase for a one-time reselection of equal or lesser value. The completed return of merchandise or reselection must take place within 7 days of your original delivery or original pick-up date. Custom order furniture is not eligible for return or exchange.
Décor Accessories
Refunds will be given when the décor accessory is returned unused & undamaged, with the original sales receipt and within 10 days of purchase. Customers returning accessories later than 10 days will receive a store credit. Custom order décor accessories are not eligible for return or exchange. Appliances Appliances that have been received by the customer are non-refundable. You must thoroughly inspect your appliances at the time of delivery or pick-up. Any damage or defect that is noticed must be reported to Home Furniture & Lighting within 48 hours, by either calling 506-854-4753 or via email to All defects are subject to the manufacturer’s warranty, and may be inspected by a factory service provider prior to a return authorization being issued.
Lighting & Bulbs
Refunds will be given when the lighting item is returned unused & undamaged, with the original sales receipt and within 10 days of purchase. Customers returning lighting items later than 10 days will receive a store credit. Lighting items are not eligible for return or exchange if they are custom orders or any lighting item that has been modified, installed, or used in any way. This includes items with cut, clipped or stripped wires, and items not in resalable condition or missing the original packaging.
There are no refunds, exchanges or reselections on items sold as Clearance, As-is, Close-out or Floor Model.
